We had a pedestal home with two bedrooms and a loft. The unit was well stocked, with all the amenities you could wish for. The living room had a gas fireplace, which was especially nice for the cool early spring nights. The kitchens were well stocked and of a nice size. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The resort has many activities through the week for its guests.

Best Things About the Resort:
The activities department was great. They scheduled shows and activities for us in advance. Very friendly and helpful!

Sunrise ridge is beautiful! It was easy to check in and out. I called ahead and the activities dept. The sent an itinerary. Several of the local attractions came for a breakfast presentation and gave away a lot of free tickets and prizes.

Best Things Nearby:
Great Smokey Mountains National Park, downtown Gatlinburg, and several outlet malls

Best Things About the Resort:
It was clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Resort Experience:
It was easy driving distance to lots of good restaurants, outlet mall shopping, and other activities. The biggest drawback was that it was too far to walk outdoors (in February) to the indoor pool.

I felt like I was at a budget-type hotel. We stayed in a one-bedroom with a sleeper sofa. My kids don't normally say anything about the sofa, but they said that it was so bad that they would rather sleep on the floor, and our bed was the same. I'm not one to have back pains, but I did after sleeping on that bed for 3 nights. The place was also not clean. The carpet missed a cleaning about 5 years ago. It was done in an old style, with teal and peach colors if that tells you anything. The staff seemed bothered to be at work. You pay $30 for maid service that you don't receive until you leave. The rooms in general had a smell to them. I would not stay here again. It was a waste of points if you are looking for a nice resort.

Best Things Nearby:
Dollywood, Dolly's Splash Country, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, 2 Tanger outlet Malls, Belz Factory Outlet World, Pigeon Forge Outlet Mall, Louise Mandrell's Show, Alabama's Restraunt, Smoky Mt. Nat'l Park, 2 Large Flea Markets.

Best Things About the Resort:
There is a great veiw of the Smokt Mts. All rooms have a patio over looking the Mts. All the staff were very helpful. If you just wanted to stay at the resort and relax they had a corn and hot dog roast, breakfast, crafts and other things to attend without leaving there. The resort is a short drive to any of the attractions and restraunts.

Resort Experience:
The resort was well kept, clean, and up-to-date. They just replaced the living room furniture the morning of our arrival. Linens, towels, and beach towels were all supplied. A washer, dishwasher, and dishwasher detergents were also supplied. They have two outdoor pools, and at both there are hot tubs and 3-foot children’s pools. They also have an indoor pool (no lifeguards). They have shuffleboards and a pool volleyball setup in one outdoor pool. They have a sauna. You can purchase or order show and attraction tickets at a reduced price there. There were a lot of families there with mom, dad, children, gram and pap.
