I have just gotten back from Pigeon Forge. My family and friends went down to stay a couple of nights for fall foliage. I will have to say this place may not be the Ritz or anything but the friendly staff they have and my condo (which was two bedroom) was just great!!!! they had plenty of activities to do if one wanted too for both adults and children alike. i would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be centrally located between Pigeon Forge,
Gatlinburg and Cherokee mountains. we took full advantage of the indoor pool, sauna and jaguzzi and let me just say FANTASTIC!!!! they was all clean. i just can't say enough about this place it was great time and experience. please keep up your wonderful work A+ to the staff and cleaning crew.

It looks like a 1970s apartment complex surrounding a central pool area. The rooms are cleaned well. There are several family activities sponsored by the resort throughout the week. There is a good-size outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool, sauna, and whirlpool hot tub. There is a large community room where you can get and play board games, and where the kids have their crafting activities. Outside there are two playgrounds, swings, a shuffleboard, a putting green, and many barbecues. It is worthy of another visit.

We stayed in a one-bedroom unit here at the Oakmont Resort in Pigeon Forge. It was okay. The rooms were small and not great by any standards. It did have a full kitchen, a little dining room, a living room, and one bedroom. It was very basic and was a decent, but not exciting, place to stay. It was not the worst but not the best--you know. Just standard. It had an indoor pool that was heated that we used and an indoor Jacuzzi. We did not use any of the other services.

The town is very fun to go to. There are many things to do and see.
Best Things About the Resort:
The staff was very friendly and curteous.
Resort Experience:
The resort is located in the valley at the bottom of the mountain. From looking at the picture in the RCI book I thought it would have a better view than it did. The room we stayed in was ok. We had no view from our room. If you looked out our bedroom window all you could see was a side road. There was no balcony or patio. The washer and dryer is located in a shared room in each building. The room had a full kitchen. It was clean and ok, but nothing special. The indoor pool had been closed that week. They had a sign up saying they were installing side rails. They had one outdoor pool that was just a basic above ground pool.
