Best Things Nearby:
Scottsdale about 15 miles away for shopping and Sedona is only about two hours away.

Best Things About the Resort:
Cool, quiet, and nice rooms. Beautiful and eye catching.

Resort Experience:
A walk around the grounds will relax you. Try to get a room on the golf course side to watch the evening watering of the grass with the sun setting in the background. This is a golf resort, so fun activities for the kids are limited.

The one-bedroom suite is large with a king bed and an outside door to the patio. The bathroom has dual sinks and a Jacuzzi. The sofa was nice to lie on, like at home, to watch TV if you’re so inclined. The kitchen has everything and the clothes washer and dryer in its private room was really handy. This is Phoenix area and it is hot, so you may be changing clothes more often. The landscape is beautiful and there is a gas grill in the pool area for cooking.

Best Things Nearby:
The best things nearby include a wonderful mountain-view lake. One of the best activities we did was going Salt River tubing on a very hot afternoon. The grocery store was very close for the ever-required fluids! There is a golf course next to resort. The Grand Canyon is about 3+ hours away (ambitious for a day trip).

Best Things About the Resort:
The rooms are very spacious and attractively decorated. There are 2 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. We were next to the pool which also had a barbeque.

Resort Experience:
The resort is located in Mesa which is about 20 minutes from Phoenix. Some rooms have a view of the mountains, but many have a minimal view. The rooms were great. The activity program was very limited, and the kids were disappointed in this. The 9-hole golf course next door was great for beginners and a very good value. We did not play on the regular course. The driving range was good too. The pool was nice.

The resort overlooks Painted Mountain Golf Resort. The condos are brand new and decorated in southwestern colors. Our one bedroom unit featured a king sized bed, two TVs, and an over sized tile bathroom with a hugh jaccuzi. The kitchen and living area are furnished with top of the line appliances and furniture. Best of all, everything is new.
