Aside from its location, The Fairfield Inn in downtown Scottsdale offers nothing in the way of glamour, opulence, or indulgence. The Inn can best be described as sterile (and I’m making no comment regarding its cleanliness!). The entrance is painfully generic; seemingly designed to replicate an industrial strip mall erected in the 1970s. This trend continues throughout. The rooms are small, but stocked with all the true necessities (iron and board, hair dryer, toiletries and coffeepot). Transportation from the airport (12 miles) is not provided. However, there is a shuttle that departs on the hour that will take guests anywhere within 5 miles.
Luckily, a 5-mile radius from this humdrum hotel offers plenty of entertainment. If nothing else, the location is prime real estate! Enjoy an easy walk to the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall, Old Town Scottsdale, and a bevy of nightclub hot spots. A continental breakfast is included in your room rate and available daily. All of this can be yours for $49-$59 during the off peak, and $119 during peak season. The Fairfield Inn is for the budget-conscious traveler who appreciates the value of being in the middle of it all!
