The only thing missing was Tattoo greeting us as we landed on the dock. The rooms were spacious and overlooked the pool and beach. We were upgraded to a villa, which had all the ammenities of a home, plus great views over the bay.

Great. The resort is spotless. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Every room has a nice balcony. There is a safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board in every room. Also lotion, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner are provided daily by the maid. There is a mini bar in the room. The items are expensive...but sometimes you just have to have something from there!!!

This is a very luxurious resort. You will feel pampered!!!

Lots of fun activities. Pool is HUGE (1/4 acre). Sometimes there are not enough chairs at the pool, but you can always find one at the beach (about 20 feet away). They charge a daily resort fee of 15.00/room, which includes use of the floats for the pool or the ocean. They have four rafts out in the ocean you can swim out to and lay in the sun or jump off if you like. There is live music by the pool on Sundays. Water volleyball is played every day. There is poolside bingo.

The beach is very nice...since the Westin is the only hotel in the area, there are only hotel guests at the beach. They have about 1200 feet of beach front property.

Great workout facility. They have 15 pieces of aerobic equipment (treadmill, bikes, stair-climber). Free weights and machines. For a small fee, there are also aerobic classes. There is also a spa for massages, facials, stone treatments, etc. There are six tennis courts too. The health club is open long hours, from 6am to 10pm. Staff is courteous and willing to help all the time.

The maids do an excellent job of cleaning the rooms. They are spotless. The grounds are also well kept. The resort sits on approx 40 acres. It is very lush and very well cared for. There are no other hotels around so you do not see "extra" people mingling about.

Some of the activities: Wed. evening movies at the pool, hikes, runs, aerobics classes. The staff brings fruit to the pool twice a day along with a cool washcloth, lots of little extras. There is bar service at the pool. They have great POOL drinks...with or without alcohol.

The resort also has three restuarants and a deli. Snorkel’s Restaurant is poolside and you can eat in your beach chair or sit at a table in the shade. Serving casual fare; burgers, seafood salad, sandwiches, french fries. Average lunch is about 9.50.

The deli opens at 7am and is open till 8pm. They have pizza, deli sandwiches, ice cream, snacks such as soda, cookies, candy, chips, fruit, beer. They have bagels and pastries for breakfast and freshly brewed coffee. You can order a picnic basket to take to a distant beach. Deli sandwiches are about 10.00 each.

There is a nice gift shop on site too. They have gifts, T-shirts, books, magazines, post cards, toiletry items...etc.

Best Things About the Resort:

Resort Experience:
We traded into a "studio 4/4" unit. It was really almost a one-bedroom as the king-size bed was upstairs and could be blocked off with a sliding panel (but no locked door). There was a sofa bed in the living area. The kitchen had a full stove/oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer (with icemaker), microwave, and a full-size washer/dryer. There was a 3/4 bath upstairs and a full bath downstairs. There were 2 TVs, one upstairs and one in the living area. There was a covered porch overlooking the ocean. The timeshare units were located on a hillside overlooking the hotel/lodge. There were a few small swimming pools located at the hillside units and a very large pool down at the lodge. There is a very nice beach area as well.

We were traveling with two very small children and the unit was perfect for us -- a crib and high chair were provided at no charge.

This was a nearly perfect resort, although there were no planned activities (which didn't bother us). There was also a "kids club" (babysitting) but we didn't use it. It was a fairly long hike from the timeshare units down to the main lodge, unless we were lucky enough to get picked up by one of the staff driving by in a golf cart.

Best Things About the Resort:
The timeshare was clean, comfortable and contains all the amenities necessary for a self catered unti including kitchen, laundry and living room. Teh studio has its own terrace and access to a private pool. The larger units have there own pools and grill facilities.

Resort Experience:
When you enter the room, there is a large bed and then you come across a fully equipped kitchen and a nice sized living room with pull out couch. There is a washer dryer, nice sized bathroom and all amenities necessary for self-catered living.

The Hilton / Orchard Road location is an excellent hotel! Beautiful surroundings, in a central part of town. Wonderful shopping all along Orchard Road makes it a great place for visitors, not to mention the great restaurants in the same area!
