Best Things Nearby:
Downtown Flagstaff, historical small town with good food places. Flagstaff is centrally located to all Northern Arizona sites. Flagstaff Mall and major highways easily accessible.

Best Things About the Resort:
Beautiful scenery, centrally located, easy access to major highway (I-40 and I-17). Very roomy townhouse style, tastefully decorated.

Resort Experience:
The two-bedroom unit was a townhouse. You walk into a bedroom with twin beds and a full bath off the entrance foyer. Walk downstairs to the master bedroom with king bed and huge bathroom - there's also a laundry room downstairs.

Walk upstairs from the main foyer entry to the kitchen, living, and dining area with cathedral ceiling and lovely gas-log fireplace. Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and a deck off the dining area and also the master bedroom on lower level. Decorated in Southwestern style decor with leather sofa.

Best Things Nearby:
There are lots of things to do in and around the Flagstaff area. The Grand Canyon is a day trip. As are the Red Rocks of Sedona. Sunset Crater is a fantastic visit to a dormant volcano...lava fields and everything. The meteor crater where the astronauts trained during the Apollo mission is just to the East, and your study of ancient civilizations start with Wapatki National Monument and Walnut Canyon.

Did I mention hiking, mountain bike riding, fishing, skiing? Yea, Flagstaff has all that too!

Best Things About the Resort:
I really loved the units. The resort is a little spread out, but we were right next to the pool and recreation area. The fact that all the recreation stuff is free is a real nice bonus.

Resort Experience:
This resort is a little outside of town so a car is needed, but its a great place to stay. You can certainly spend a few days just enjoying the resort. Workout facilities at a local club, chipping golf course, discount rate at neighboring course, a small walk down to the local lake, miniature golf, jaccuzzi on your deck. Its all there!

As a base camp, there is more to do in this area that you could possibly accomplish. It also lends itself to just about any vacation style...arts, adventure, historical, nature, etc.
