Historic Camp Richardson and shopping and dining downtown

Best Things About the Resort:
Location on the beach

Resort Experience:
Lakeside, there are multiple buildings in a wooded lot surround by a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. The room was recently nicely decorated in a lodge motif. There is also a comfortable living room with a fireplace.

Very clean. Updated. Everything we needed for a 1-week snow adventure. Close to casinos and shuttles to any ski run we desired. Helpful staff and beautiful views all around.

On the beach, the views are wonderful!

Best Things About the Resort:
It is well-planned and being remodeled. Our unit was fresh and very clean.

Resort Experience:
The rustic mountain decor was very well done. The drive around the lake is extremly scenic. We arrived just before things opened for the season, so it was a bit too quiet. The casinos are only a 4-minute drive away.

Best Things Nearby:
There are so many places to go nearby, such as Vikingsholm on Emerald Bay, Squaw Valley, The Ponderosa Ranch, and Virginia City.

Best Things About the Resort:
The resort is right on the lake, which was the first place we went many mornings. The staff is so cordial and helpful. The resort is making continual improvements.

Resort Experience:
Tahoe Beach and Ski Club is right on Highway 50, about 1.5 miles east of the state line. It is easy to get just about any place you want to go.

The rooms are large and well maintained. We have stayed there in the past and found the amenities much improved. Having the computer in the office to check email was very helpful.

We stayed in a beautiful one-bedroom unit with a rustic look. It included a kitchenette, but there was no stove, microwave, or laudry facilities in the room. There were two bathrooms. The unit was newly remodeled and everything looked new in April 2004. They were remodeling the studios first and last they would redo the two-bedroom units.
