5-star. From our 23rd floor window, we had a spectacular view of the lights and glitter of the strip and the mountains in the daytime. There are of plenty of Sun.-Thurs. specials this time of year. We only paid $39 a night for our room, which would go for $150-250 during peak season. All the major casinos have upgraded to the quality you would find at the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, but the room rates are better. There is also more excitement in the air in downtown Reno.
