Resort Experience:
The unit was roomy and clean. It could have had a little larger porch, but it was sufficient. The bathroom was roomy, with a whirlpool tub/shower. The location was convenient to everything. The valet parking was very good. We never had to wait for our car. We enjoyed the service. The Starbucks coffee packets every morning were great also.

Embassy Vacation Resort
The Embassy is and has been known for being a great and expensive place to stay. Most people find it very hard to get a reservation there, and if they did, it's normally expensive. It's a really nice place to stay as you have everything you need either in the resort or very close to you. The location and resort seem to be a perfect fit.

Bicycles for use, ping pong tables and board games for family fun, and barbecue pits available for use.
Resort Experience:
The resort is wonderfully situated along the lake. The children's activity center has daily fun events for children (and adults!). The concierge is helpful with show and buffet information. Located across from an art gallery and shops. Convenient shuttle bus so you never have to move your car once you're settled in for your stay!

Tahoe Queen, Chevy's Mexican food, Wyland Gallery, Heavenly Ski Resort, Fresh Ketch restaurant, the lake, the mountains, and the trails.
Best Things About the Resort:
Indoor and outdoor pools and spas, a sauna, and a great restaurant for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and there are plenty of activities for the kids.
Resort Experience:
We enjoy the resort because we have days action packed with activities and then other days that we relax and do as little as possible. Lake Tahoe offers both, and our family never tires of our time spent at the Embassy Resort. The staff remembers our names and we feel at home, yet there is always something new to see or do. They provide bikes that you can use to ride around the lake and the beach is right there for playing. We like taking the shuttles to the casinos for dining and entertainment; it really makes the trip relaxing.

Lake, mountains, skiing, casinos, entertainment, restaurants. Also, quite a few places to get married . . .
Best Things About the Resort:
Good size rooms, nicely maintained, excellent service, 3 TVs, VCR, 2 bathrooms (master bath is very large with jacuzzi, short walk to shopping, although a car is a must to see the sights. Shuttle to casinos and restaurants.
Resort Experience:
Great place to stay. Plenty of room with two bedrooms (including lock-out unit). Good size kitchen and dining area. Mountain fresh air, although thin due to elevation. Casinos and entertainment nearby. Dress up . . . or not. It's a good place for a family vacation or a romantic one. Plenty to do for both!
