John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park is the first undersea park in the US and is a popular site for diving and undersea weddings. The park also offers a wide range of programs designed to introduce you to the natural and cultural history of Key Largo, including guided walks along its mangrove and wild tamarind trails. While diving, you’ll also be able to explore 'Christ of the Abyss,' an underwater sculpture created by Guido Galletti that rests 20 feet below the surface.
