The Cheeca was magnificent and we immediately felt at home. My husband fished off of the 500'' pier while I sunned myself next two one of two pools. There is an amazing saltwater lagoon filled with cobia, bonefish, even a tarpon. Ask for an upgrade during off peak times! You will be shocked at what you can get for your money! Our suite was equipped with a full kitchen, microwave, stove, coffemaker, and full fridge. It was certainly adequate for the amount of cooking we planned to do (breakfast and lunch). There was a large living area with a pull out sofa, comfy chairs, and TV. We had a wonderful huge screen porch overlooking the golf course. Our bedroom was huge with ample closet space. The bathroom was the biggest I have seen in a hotel! The decor is classic Key West. Laid back elegance is everwhere at the Cheeca! The accomodations were spacious and immaculate. We will definitely be returning!

Staying at the Cheeca Lodge is something you won't soon forget. The Lodge is nestled on 27 acres of landscaped gardens with a glorious beach on the Atlantic side. There is something here for every water-lover, including snorkeling, diving and fishing. Islamorada is world known for it's fishing.
