This is by far the nicest hostel I stayed in while traveling through Oz! It is quite affordable and very clean. The dorm room I stayed in had its own ensuite bathroom at no additional charge. The bathroom was quite new and clean as well. Also, each bed came with a nice dooner! Great for the often chilly weather in Melbourne.
The kitchen was also a good size and very clean. The basement of the hostel was a cozy TV room with a big screen TV and lots of couches.
It was a very comfortable place to stay in overall. I wish I had discovered it the first night I arrived in Melbourne. Unfortunately, it is about a 20 minute walk from the train station. However, it is definitely worth the walk!
