Adelaide, South Australia, Australia

The management can organise any activities you'd like to do and it's only (literally) a minute's walk to the trendy cafes, restaurants and shops of the village. Continue walking to the end of the main street and you'll hit the mouth of the river (where the weekend market is held) and, eventually, the pier - more cool shops and lots of millionaires' boats. This is where the cruises to the Great Barrier Reef depart.
You should be able to negotiate a discount in the low and shoulder seasons or if you're staying more than a few days. Last time we visited, we stayed five days in November and negotiated a discount of 25%.
