The room itself was clean and decorated in bright, beachy colors. It is obviously not a new resort but it did not look or feel rundown. The floors are tile except in the bedroom, which is covered with carpet. The kitchen was fully stocked with the typical appliances, cooking utensils, plates and silverware. There was a TV in the living area but not one in the bedroom. Our room was on the second floor so we had a balcony outfitted with a few chairs that overlooked the pool, shuffleboard courts and beach.
We knew the room we were getting was not big enough to sleep our family (my wife and myself and our 14-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter in a one-bedroom with one sleeper sofa and one bathroom) but we could not have imagined how small it would actually be, probably because we are spoiled from staying in so many two- and three-bedroom units. We could not eat at the table provided with the sleeper sofa open and my son had to sleep on the floor in the entryway. Fortunately, we only really used the room for sleeping.
The staff was friendly and helpful, even with the couple of special requests we had during our stay.
