We stayed at Casa Del Mar and it was a nice place. We had a ocean-view suite with a kitchen. We cooked most of our meals so we saved money. The kitchen was a bit small, but we have a family of six and we all fit around the table perfectly. The master bath was huge and the view was spectacular.
Around 7 or 7:30 every morning, if you looked out the window, you could see dolphins swimming right in front of the hotel. The beach was kept clean and it was not very crowded. We enjoyed relaxing and taking morning walks along the beach.
The resort had activities all week long and, unfortunately, we were only there three days. But we took advantage of the ice cream social. They had henna tattoos, trivia night, meet-and-greets, etc. I wish we could have stayed longer.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.
Across from the resort is a putt putt mini golf that is fun. I believe it cost $7.50 a person, but if you go again, it is $5.50 a game and you get a dollar off the next time you visit. The kids really loved going.
