The Last Resort

The Last Resort is situated near the Bhote Kosi River and is about 3 hours away from the airport in Kathmandu. They will organise transportation for you. This place is the latest joint venture of River Pionner, David Allardice and Bishnu Neopane. The Last Resort is situated within 12km of the Tibet Border. The food there is buffet style for all three meals. The rooms are tents - the bed is not the most comfortable bed and the tent is not that spacious but you only sleep in there so it's not a big deal. The showers are open air and it can be quite cold but if you take a shower before 3pm the water is hot and the sun is shining (in March...) There is a sauna and a plunge pool - which is a nice hang out spot. The staff there are really nice and you can have a really adventurous time there as well as a very relaxing time. The Karma Bar is definitely a really nice place to hang out and have some drinks. The view at The Last Resort is beautiful... You can bungy off the bridge (which is very stable and reliable cause it was made for bungy jumping) which is 160m (500ft) high! Visit their website: http://www.tlr-nepal.com
