The rooms were relatively inexpensive, considering where you are. They weren't the cleanest I've ever stayed in, but weren't bad for a quick night's stay on a road trip. They were pretty big and so were the bathrooms. We ended up renting two rooms and one had a kitchenette. Very sparse with just the basic necessities.
They rent scuba equipment and run daily dives directly from the center. There is also a good sized dock on the premises, along with a pool, bar-b-que, and sun deck. There is a restaurant and bar attached to the dive center.
The motel is conveniently located directly on old highway 1, but isn't really close to everything. If you want to check out Key Largo for the night or do something else, you will need a car. Overall, not bad at all for the prices with a friendly staff.
