Description: We enjoyed our stay at the Lauria Apartments. We had a room in Apt. Alyssa which had 4 rooms within the apartment. There was a common area, kitchen, bathroom and shower that you shared with others in the apartment. Our double room came with a double bed, single bed (which could be used as a couch) and TV. We could've easily slept 2 people in the room. There were also old English books on the bookshelf that people had left behind. The kitchen was equipped with utensils, bowls, pots, toaster, stove, and refrigerator in case you wanted to cook. All the rooms were very clean and we were pleased with the accomodations. There are also two grocery stores within two blocks of the apartment. There are also hostel rooms available for those who do not need private rooms. It was about a 20-30 minute walk to the center of town, but easily accessible by tram or subway. To get to the Lauria Apartments from Westbahnhof, take tram #5 to Burggasse, or you can walk 10-15 minutes from the station. From Sudbahnhof, take tram #18 to Westbahnhof and transfer to tram #5 to Burggasse. Credit cards are accepted for amounts over 1000 AS.
