The pool is small, but kept at a nice temperature. The spa was small, and we found it on more than one occasion to be to HOT!! Also, the pool had a lot of sand on the bottom of it on our first day there. However, they did clean it on the second day of our stay.
We had a two-bedroom and a one-bedroom since my sister and her family joined us this trip. The rooms were small in size but well stocked. The two-bedroom was made up of two one-bedrooms adjoined by a lockout door.
The views were limited; the one-bedroom had a side ocean-view from across the street. The two-bedroom we had was located at the back of the building, where Pacific Avenue ran behind the resort. However, this view was not a total loss since we could see part of the bay and a small shipyard where tourists could rent small boats for tours.
The rooms were clean upon arrival, and access to the shared laundry facility was on our floor down the hall. The staff was friendly and tried to comply with any problems or requests we had.
This resort is what you pay for. The points required are much fewer than most. The fact that the resort is less fancy and somewhat lacking for space, to me, makes sense. The old saying that you get what you pay for comes to mind.
My family enjoyed our stay, but we knew ahead of time the resort was not a five-star, so we were not disappointed.

Lots of restaurants and bars right on the water.Best Things About the Resort:The location and the helpfulness of the staff.Resort Experience:This is an older resort and some effort has been made to keep it up, but we found some things on our unit that needed repair, replacing and/or cleaning. One of the twin beds had a mattress which needed to be replaced, the kitchen (very, very small - they mean mini when they say mini) was in need of deep-cleaning and the unit had a horrible odor upon entering that you got used to, but took home on your clothes! The dining table was tiny, suited for two but not for the six that the unit was supposed to have room for. When we let the front desk know about a closet door off the track they fixed it promptly.
This is not a fancy or classy resort, but the location is great and it is passable. Check-in was about the quickest I've ever seen! And check out was easy too. We would return to this resort since there are very few RCI resorts in VA Beach and it is a nice area to visit.

When we arrived we found out the resort had a major flood the night before and they lost 18 rooms. I got my keys for the room and it was a 1 bdroom! I went back to the front desk, told them about the problem, and that's when the issues started. They took a long before the front desk got back to me because they didn't have my 2 bdroom. They ended up finding me a 2 bdroom but when I went to the room it was on the floor where the flood was! Musty, wet odor everywhere. I could not believe they put me in that room. At this point I was livid! After all, I'm an owner here! I told them I want the 1 bdroom back. 2 hours later the front desk called me and said they found a 2 bdroom on a non-flooded floor. So the manager let me have the the 1 AND 2 bdroom for the week. As if I needed 2 units for 3 people. I was very disappointed with this resort, but I tried to understand that they did have a major flood and I was not the only one who was disadvantaged.
Both units were clean with some old and new appliances. small kitchen: 2 burner cooktop, dorm sized frig, microwave in one bedroom. Standard size frig in 2 bdroom.

The resort is more towards the end of Virginia Beach (Atlantic Ave.) so there isn't nearly the traffic as more toward the middle, which was a huge advantage to walking.Resort Experience:The resort lobby houses the pool and hottub. There is also a small resturant here. The food in the resturant was excellent. The problems we had after check-in were all fixed within hours of them being brought to management's attention, and the follow up with us was good. The activity center had tickets (at a discount) for many attractions nearby.

The rooms were brightly decorated with new rugs, tile floors and appliances. Each unit has a jacuzzi tub. The unit was very clean and had a great view of the ocean. The only maid service is to replace towels and remove trasch. The elevator was very slow. You have everything at your disposal. Bike trails, boadwalk and beach are right outside the door.
