Snuffel's Sleep In

Smaller hostel in a great location near Market Square. The proprietors spoke some English, German, and French (among others). Rooms in a six person dorm cost me 12€ per night. Breakfast can be added for an additional 2€ but is not worth it. Get a waffle instead. Hostel offers a bar that brings in periodic music groups for performances, lockers, and internet access. Rooms and bathrooms are of expected hostel level of cleanliness. Staff is friendly and a good way to meet people is to hang out in the bar. Sheets are availiable to rent. It looks like it might be a lot of fun in the spring when the courtyard is open and you can barbecue. Kitchen facilities also available.

The private rooms are a set of bunkbeds, as is usual with hostels. We had a shower in our room but it was freezing and a bit scary. The dorm rooms were located where we had to walk through the bar every morning to access the showers. A definate plus was that they have a kitchen so you can cook your own meals. A big money saver. Located in a very central location where you can walk to the Main Square, the Belfry etc. There is a pub on the main floor that opens in the evenings. Breakfast (rolls and coffee) available for a small fee.
