The Marina is the main shopping and dining area. This was a good 30 minutes walk from the resort along the beach. There is a small supermarket in the complex and a large supermarket within a 5 minute walk of the resort.
Best Things About the Resort:
The unit was large with a balcony which was as big as the lounge.It was clean and tidy.
Resort Experience:
The resort was a very attractive hotel on the coast with a nice sandy beach. There are plenty of restaurants along the beach to choose from. The restaurant in the hotel was good but lacked atmosphere.
There were two pools, one used by children and the other was for swimmers as it was deep. The pools were not heated and were freezing even when the sun had been on them all day. The result was that hardly anyone used the swimmers' pool.
The hotel activities were limited and did not appeal. There were no real activities for older teenagers, the games room with the only table tennis table was for younger kids. The only pool table was in the room for evening entertainment and was not accessible outside the hours of 9pm to early hours in the morning.
The unit did not have a dishwasher or washing machine and had a small 14" TV with cable channels.
Overall, the unit was clean and tidy with maid service every day. However, lacked good quality entertainment and facilities for families with older kids.
The complex was a bit far away from the marina area so you will either have to walk or take a taxi.
There are a good range of outings to choose from.
