Resort Experience:
This is a very new building, with air-conditioning and a beautiful pool just steps from the building. The pool has a lazy river and a wet bar, but it also has a part of it on dry ground. There is a great waterside and was very tempting for this 53-year-old fellow to check out!
There is also a great restaurant just steps away that serves delicious food and buffets for breakfast. There is a spacious pavilion that gives a shaded area, to retreat to and to have a cool drink, or to have you meals in casual wear.
There is just about every type of water toy you can want on the resort shore. It’s truly a picture of a relaxing time in a warm Caribbean country. So many folks just enjoyed sitting on a beach chair and you could tell that they were being calmed by the lapping of the seas on the sand beach.
The units themselves were designed to allow an efficiency unit or a room that was possible to rent out separately from the main unit. In the efficiency unit, a person had a lovely kitchen with all appliances and an open balcony looking over the sea. A small private pool was also on this balcony that would allow for a cool dip with out having to go out too far.
I had stayed in the hotel across the street, which is owner by the same person. I had gone there for a vacation and my group had indicated that I would be asked to view a vacation sharing opportunity. However, I had never been exposed to an RCI resort or the concept. We were given a tour and a welcoming drink that was very good indeed. I felt a little pressured however to make a commitment following the presentation. The sales people were very nice, but I'm the type of fellow that needs a little research and time to digest a presentation. There was an incentive to act quickly and the dollars saved would be substantial, but I had no idea of what to expect in such a situation as this as I had never looked at a vacation share property. I could not determine if the value was reasonable. I would like to have researched RCI as this was my first introduction.
So to round out my experience, I enjoyed the facilities very much and enjoy the quiet grounds with all the activities surrounding the resort. However, I felt pressured to absorb too much info in a very short time or to do any research about the place. No follow up to date has been received and I still wonder if I missed the deal of a lifetime!
