Beautiful, modern rooms. Had a cooling pool on the deck. Our deck only had sun in the early morning because it was not ocean view. There was still some construction going on.

The spacious rooms, small wading pool on each balcony, artwork on the walls, prompt and attentive cleaning staff, and superb location will make this resort a vacation experience of choice for anyone who stays here. It’s 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from downtown Acapulco. This exclusive resort is situated in the diamante (diamond) region. The Mayan Palace grounds are well kept and feature amenities like the kilometer-long pool, beachfront property, golf course, and fine dining. We wanted to stay forever!

We stayed in a one-bedroom unit. It had a living room, kitchen area, bedroom with garden tub, full bathroom, and additional vanity sink. There was a large closet and plenty of pillows and blankets. The deck has a dipping pool that replenishes itself daily.

As Mayan Palace owners, we were given the privilege of staying at the new Grand Mayan. The room was great - we had a private pool on our huge balcony with a soaking tub in our bedroom. Our son had the lockout with a Jacuzzi in his room. We had free run of the hotel, which included the water park (it's not just for kids). The Mayan is redoing the lobby, adding a deli, a disco and so many other great amenities that we will probably never tire of visiting. Acapulco, in our opinion, is their most beautiful resort.
