The rooms were of an excellent size; there are two-bedroom and three-bedroom units at this resort. They were well-maintained, with all the modern conveniences you would expect in the unit, full-kitchen facilities, en-suite bathrooms, cable TV, and of course, fantastic views of the amazing Broadwater.
The amenities at the resort are brilliant for children and adults alike, with full-sized flood-lit tennis courts, a giant outdoor chess and draughts set, and children's playground (also has kid's club during the school holidays). But the facilities don't stop there. The resort also has indoor and outdoor spas, a heated swimming pool, sauna, and a game room complete with a foosball table and video games. But wait--there is more. Also, there is a bar with a pool table, jukebox, great barbeque areas, and a lovely magical garden. The resort also has underground parking with security. The staff is also fantastic.

A hotel and fish-and-chips shop is about a minutes walk away. At the rear of the fish shop, you can feed the pelicans any day.

If travelling alone, the resort offers an activity night for our members, where members are invited downstairs to meet others travelling through or even the locals who choose to stay at their own resorts.

The Broadwater is a mere stroll away as well or you can visit some fantastic theme parks like Sea world, Dream world, Movie World, or Wet and Wild, all within a 20-minute drive.
Best Things About the Resort:The resort has so much to do on site let alone being the perfect spot to use as a base to explore the Gold Coast. We had beautiful views of the Broad Water from out two balconies, especially at sunrise and sunset or the heated deck spa was great to relax in and admire the stars. The indoor heated spa and sauna where a great place to relax as well before heading around to the game room for some pool, darts, or just a drink and some conversation.Resort Experience:Upon walking into reception the foyer is not all that large but that is soon lost in the friendliness of the staff. For a $20 refundable deposit this gets you an extra key plus the ability to hire out any of there equipment (with exception to the boats as there is an fuel charge as well). Also any tours or advice reception is more than happy to organize or help out.
The two-bedroom unit that we stayed in was very spacious and would certainly be excellent for a large family as well. Not only is there the main bathroom but also an ensuite off the main bedroom. Both bedrooms as well as the lounge have a balcony off them with views of the broad water. The unit is complete with full kitchen facilities, washer and dryer. Some of the furniture is not what you would say is the most modern but it is all very comfortable.
The resort is great for kids as well as activities can be organized and there is also an area which has a mini-putt green, draughts/chess board and snakes and ladders board painted on the ground (which provides great entertainment even for the bigger kids at heart). There is a full size tennis court on site and the BBQ’s allow for a nice meal out in the garden setting.
You are only a five-minute drive away from the night life in surfers and the shopping centres at Runaway Bay, South Port or Broad Beach provide great shopping and eating facilities.
