There is an outdoor pool, spa, tennis court, and that beach! It is just up the road from the local surf club for that great Sunday morning breakfast before heading to the theme parks for the day!

Mariner Shores also has an Adult Lounge where the grown ups can chill out at the bar and watch a sporting event in the private cinema. There are heaps of indoor and outdoor seating around generous sized BBQs and I even played a match of tennis and had a hack on the mini golf course. Transport was easy as there is access to the local shopping district via a walk down the path along the beach with tropical hibiscus flowers along the fence. Major shopping centre Pacific Fair is only a 10 minutes bus trip away, of which there is a bus stop just outside the resort. There is a surf lifesaving club just across the road from the resort where you can sit, have a refreshing drink, a bite to eat and just watch the waves roll in. The first Sunday of every month, Burleigh beach holds its own beachfront markets and if you like a rod in your hand there is some of the best beach fishing available. You can achieve great heights by trekking around Burleigh Headland, which is a Australian Aboriginal Landmark and nature reserve. I even spent a day relaxing in my unit that had a full kitchen where I cooked some of my home favourites and sat on the balcony with a glass of wine mesmerized by the ocean. Overall, my stay at the Mariner Shores Resort exceeded my expectations in every way and I look forward to my next visit.

Situated close to Miami shopping town, or 5 mins to Pacific Fair and the casino by bus, or south to Burleigh town for some great restaurants, and lovely coastal cliff walks.
Best Things About the Resort:From reception, find your way to the game room, which is fully air conditioned, there is a snack bar. Try the mini golf course, or play a game of tennis, and enjoy the BBQ area.
The pool area is lush and tropical, surrounded by native palms. Spend time with family and friends.Resort Experience:Situated on the Esplanade at North Burleigh, it is a very nice low-level resort with maximum 5 floors, surrounded by lush gardens, beautiful tropical pool area, and a lovely welcoming reception; the décor is done in soft pastel colours.
There are one-, two-, and three-bedroom units available to RCI, with full kitchen, laundry. The rooms are very well maintained and have a full kitchen with dishwasher. No air-conditioning, only ceiling fans.
Facilities: The attached game room which is fully air-conditioned. There is a mini golf course, tennis court, BBQ area.
A great place for the family or a group of friends. Situated across the road from a patrolled Beach, it is the ideal place for a nice layback holiday.

The facilities of the resort are really great. Outside and around the back is the huge full-size floodlit tennis court and basketball ring, which is right next to the really cool mini-golf putt-putt course. There’s also a big outdoor barbecue area and gazebo right next to the tennis courts. The huge outdoor lagoon-style pool is surrounded by lush gardens with little waterfalls and a couple of spas are hiding in the gardens. Inside there is also another really big heated indoor pool and kiddie pool, another spa, steam room and sauna and quite a big gym with lots of equipment. There is also a fantastic kids’ game room, which again is really huge, with heaps of stuff there including pool and table-tennis tables, arcade machines, Playstations and Game Cubes, library and videos for hire. You can even get a massage on site! The other great thing is the free weekly bus service to the local shopping centres.

The resort had a good program that included kids' activities as well as regular movies on a large-screen TV in the lounge. The pool area was noisier than the one at Club Noosa, where we stayed the previous week. A much larger resort and an enclosed space.
Security in the resort was excellent, with a card-key system for entry to the resort and for exit from the car parks. A comprehensive collection of tour brochures was displayed in the reception area. Tours could be booked from reception and paid for at the end of the week. Very convenient. The reception staff were very helpful, as were the maintenance staff. Within minutes of reporting a blown globe, it was replaced!
