Great location to explore Denpasar, most sights within walking distance. Clean rooms with private bath and Air Conditioning. About 10 US a night. The staff very helpful with transportation. I explored Denpasar by foot from the Inn. The Nakula Familiar Inn is well located to use the Local Transportaton System to explore areas outside of Denpasar. They know the Bemo and Bus schedules and told me how to use them. I visited Tanah Lot, Pura Taman Ayun in Mengwi and Ubud. All days trip from the Nakula familiar Inn. A great adventure using the local transportation system. The owner and staff of the Inn were wonderful to me.
I would stay there again.

The Nakula Familiar Inn is a small hotel in the less than popular (by tourist standards) city of Denpasar, Bali. Its business seems to stem from its handiness to the bus terminal which accepts buses from Banju Wangi, Java. Like us, after a long journey from Probolingo, Surabaya or even further the first thing you want to do is get showered and go to bed. The rooms are clean enough and the breakfasts (not included in the 95000Rp cost) are good. The rooms are separated by shady paths which give the hotel the impression of being in a garden rather than an inner city. We watched Lennox Lewis clobber Mike Tyson the morning after we arrived. The owner and his family were very accomodating and the genuinely relaxed attitude of our host was reciprocated.
