Egret Point is within a half mile of Shipyard's golf courses, within a mile of the beach and within two miles or less of a wide variety of excellent restaurants. The closest shopping area is Coligny Plaza, roughly a mile away, and features a movie theater, several restaurants, and numerous shops for souvenirs, clothes and beach, and bicycle rentals/accessories.
Best Things About the Resort:
Egret Point is only about a half mile from the security gate, so it's easy to get in and out. Numerous amenities are within two or three miles. The activity center is literally across the parking lot and features an exercise room, table tennis, pool table, and outdoor pool.
Resort Experience:
Egret Point units are very spacious, with two bedrooms downstairs and a loft bedroom for the kids upstairs. Both downstairs bedrooms have full bathrooms with shower stalls and Jacuzzi tubs, while the upstairs bathroom has a standard tub and shower. The sofa pulls out for additional sleep space. Both downstairs bedrooms, as well as the living room, are equipped with televisions. The living room also has a CD player/stero system and VCR. The kitchen is fully outfitted. Washer and dryer are located in the utility room behind the kitchen. There is a small deck accessible from the living room; lower level units have stairs from the deck to ground level. Upper level units have high cathedral ceilings.
