A & O Hostel

A & O Hostel is a very inexpensive place to stay for the budget traveller. With that in mind, you do get what you pay for (rooms run as low as $10). I was switched from a 6-to-8-person room to a 20-person room despite having reserved the 6-8 room a month in advance. The showers have very little pressure or hot water. One plus for this place, besides price, was its location, as it is very close to a metro station, so you are not very far from connecting to downtown. Also, it is located across from the town's hockey arena, which is a great place to eat a cheap meal.
