The Paradise Inn (2006)

This is not the first time I write about the Paradise Inn. Because it's our favorite B&B in Key West, we decided to try the Paradise Inn first. (We never book our hotels/B&B on forehand in Florida.) The best time to go to Key West (without a reservation) is on Sunday. You can drive easily to Key West; the road isn’t that crowdie like on a Friday or Saturday. It’s also the best time to get a room in one of the popular B&B’s that Key West has to offer. The weekends are most of the time fully booked.

We had a room for 5 nights in The Paradise Inn. Again it was our favorite room, number 105. This room has a porch with a table and chairs. It’s close to the pool. When you’re sitting at your porch, you can see the pool.

We noticed there were some trees missing in the garden. This is the result of the hurricane last year. The building itself didn’t get any damage. Still there are enough trees in the garden, so it all looks beautiful.

The breakfast didn’t change. They still have the very tasty pastries from Croissants the France. The service is time after time good. It didn’t change through the years we’ve been in The Paradise Inn. It’s always difficult to recommend a B&B on your own experience, but with this little paradise I can ensure you will have a great time!

This B&B has a friendly and very helpful staff, a good breakfast, and always enough food for everybody. You can park your car on the property for free, behind a fence, which you can open by a remote control. You get the remote control with the keys of your room. The location is perfect, close to Duval Street, but when you’re sitting in the garden it’s very quiet.

We had a great time and we wanted to stay one more night (Friday night). The Paradise Inn was completely booked for the weekend, so we decided to drive to Miami and stay there for a few nights.

I can highly recommend The Paradise Inn. They have proved to us that through the years they have the same service and atmosphere to offer.

The Paradise Inn

It's definitely my favourite place to stay. It has a beautiful garden, with many kinds of flowers and trees. The pool is very nice. There are enough places to sit by the pool. If you like the quiet, serene atmosphere, this is the place for you. They serve breakfast, which is simple but good. You can take your breakfast on your veranda. You can sit outside by your room and relax. You have to try this spot, because it’s like the name says--a paradise! We've stayed here several times, and it was always perfect!
