El Patio certainly reminded me of growing up in the Keys. It is a quaint little place and the staff were very helpful. This is a step back in time. Thought that for the price a little more maintenance should have been done. When I took a shower ...Read more

If your looking for a place just to crash for the night it is perfect. Bare bones and not to kid friendly. Not to close to anything approx. a 15 to 20 min walk to beach or main strip
Quiet, clean, far away

El Patio is a fine place, if you're not looking for luxury. It's old, quiet, and clean -- no frills. It's a few blocks from the south end of Duval Street, which means that you'll be walking a lot if you want to be near the heart of the action. ...Read more

Close to a beach and near Duval Street allowed us to avoid driving and searching for the too few parking spaces. Would definitely stay here again. Room was most roomy. Bathroom was small but typical of a 50's era building.
Nice inexpensive art deco.

Cool place to stay on the cheap. Great courtyard garden and roof top lounge area. This is a good value, and the owners are really nice. Close enough to down town to walk.
If your on a budget, it works.

El Patio is cheap, and the rooms are spartan, but if you just need a place to crash while you enjoy Key West, it works. It's a few blocks from Duval so the late night noise doesn't keep you up and, most importantly, its clean. Keep in mind there is ...Read more

My friends and I choose this place for the location and the price. It not the Waldorf, nor did we expect that. This is a charming hotel with a golden girls look to the room. The grounds are nice, with a great roof top patio. The staff is friendly ...Read more
The staff was very helpful, they went out of their way to point out places of interest for me to visit during my seven day stay.

I recommend this Motel to anyone on a budget. The rooms are clean and the staff was very helpful. One of the best features was the roof patio. It had a great view day or night with ample seating and lush gardens.
