Pretty Bass Lake offers water and mountain sports. A variety of restaurants surround the lake, from fine dining to bar/grill.
Resort Experience:
Our unit was located with a view of the lake. It had a large living room with a murphy bed so you didn't have to use the sofa. The two bedrooms were upstairs. One with a queen and the other, two twin beds. We had a small patio with a grill, right off the dining room. There are several marinas, so you can rent boats, jet skis, and fishing gear. There are several camping areas around the lake. It looked like people came for the day, staked out places along the shore and just kicked backed to relax. We went into the town of Oakhurst (7 miles) for shopping and eating for a little variety. A must see is Yosemite for close-up views of natural wonders such as Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Glacier Point, and Mariposa Grove's giant sequoias.
