Ritz Carlton Orlando

We were upgraded for free to suite on club level. Extreme luxury, great view, shower, tub and sit down makeup area. Bed linens were wonderful along with the comfort of the bed. The suite was bedroom, bath, walk in closet, living room and half bath.

Ritz Carlton Orlando

If you have money to spare and love the lap of luxury, then the Ritz Carlton Orlando is the hotel for you. This resort has five-star restaurants and an award winning golf course. The hotel rooms are a study in understated elegance and are more like what you would find in a more cosmopolitan city, not Orlando, which is known more for its bright colors and appeal to children.

The rooms are beautiful with marble bathrooms with separate showers, and all rooms have balconies. The amenities include CD players and bathrobes for your use. During the day, Dad can play on the 18-hole golf course and Mom can have a spa treatment or two at the onsite spa and get her hair done at the salon. Kids under 12 can take part in the Ritz Kids program, which is supervised by onsite counselors.

If you are looking for a hotel that is right on Disney property, this is not the hotel to stay, as it is a distance from the parks. If for whatever reason you want to take a romantic vacation for two, this is the one hotel in Orlando I would recommend. All of the restaurants were great, from the poolside restaurant Bleu to dinner at Normans. While this hotels prices can seem a bit steep from $200 to $350 per night, it is on par with many other higher end hotels in Orlando et al Animal Kingdom Lodge, Gaylord Palms, Swan, and Dolphin (Swan and Dolphin not worth their high nightly rates). The service is superb as are the amenities.
