Embassy Suites South San Francisco

  • August 8, 2005

Embassy Suites has nice large rooms. Our suite had a king-size bed and then a living/dinning room area. The children slept in the foldout and crib, and there was still plenty of space. The complimentary breakfast each morning was tasty and filling. Cocktails in the evening were also free during the manager’s happy hour (the kids loved the popcorn). Because of its corporate location, weekend rates are a bargain. The one drawback is the lack of restaurants in the area.

Embassy Suites at San Francisco Airport

The Embassy Suites is located close to the airport. As a result, it is about 45 minutes away from San Francisco. Traffic is always horrible, so leave loads of time to go to downtown S.F.

The lobby of this hotel is so beautiful, it's like a museum. It was enjoyable just walking around. Embassy Suites is part of the Hilton family, and being an HHonors Gold VIP member, I was treated like a queen. Check-in took 2 seconds. Whenever I travel on business, I always look for an Embassy Suites hotel. I love them!

The Embassy Suites is an all-suite hotel and provides complimentary breakfast buffet and happy hour from 4 to 7pm. We ate in the hotel restaurant, where I had Florentine ravioli with goat cheese and mushrooms. It was different and tasted great.

The only bad thing about this hotel is that it was far from downtown S.F.; otherwise, this was perfect!
