We have stayed here the last three times we've visited London; due to the weak dollar, we had to economize, so we had a room with a sink for ₤55 per night. The shower and toilets were right outside, and all three times, we had the facilities to ourselves. Breakfast is simple: one egg, toast, and coffee. Lucy, the manager, and the man (I forget his name) at the front desk are so nice. Our room was ready, but if yours isn't, they will hold the bags for you.

This is at the quieter end of Barkston Gardens (see my review of Barkston Gardens hotel), so you get a little bit of street noise when the corner bar closes, but that is it. We will stay there in the future. They also have rooms with facilities; I have seen three or four of them, and they are nice. It's not too big, but they have dressers and wardrobes, so that is fine.

I have stayed at five or six different hotels and B&Bs in this area, but I like this one the best. They have 18 rooms, some with private facilities and some that share the toilet and showers. Due to the exchange rate, we opted for shared facilities. The room was £55, and there were two twin beds, a dresser, an armoire, and a sink, with the toilets and shower down the hall. We had the facilities to ourselves, and the room we shared with was a single. Both times, we requested room 17 on the 4th floor. We also saw room 8 on 2nd level, and that was a bigger room, but we figured that, being higher-up, we would have facilities to ourselves, and it would be quieter. We were right.

Included in the price are taxes and breakfast of one egg, toast, and coffee. The front desk is very friendly, and I will stay here in the future.
