Rose Hotel had 105 rooms was cheap, clean but modest back in 1989 when we first visited, located in the red light district. The entrance was through an alley with a wooden sign post overhead Rose Hotel.
Now, the Rose Hotel has transformed itself into quite an impressive place to stay with 70 rooms with comfortable beds, shower and bath, phone, TV, refrigerator, mini-bar, no longer a budget place, rates starting at THB1600 if booked on the Internet, otherwise starts at THB2100 for a standard single. Their Rose suite is THB3500 booked on the Internet, otherwise THB4200/night. Rose Hip dining service provides a friendly dining ambience with Chinese, Thai, European dishes from breakfast to dinner with 24 hour room service.
