+: Location, free bottle water, good cable selection, very clean, staff helpful when I got lost
-: Full size bed was 2 twins together with a seam in the middle, standup shower (no tub), room was narrow (8.5 feet), only 1 ice machine in basement and no ice bucket provided
I would stay there again due to value and a great location

My mother and I traveled to Chicago for the first time. We were very pleased with Club Quarters Wacker at Michigan. It was in the best location and we had a great view of the Chicago River. We rode the El (subway train service) from O'Hare Airport and it only cost us $* each. This train dropped us off only about 4 blocks away from the hotel. The beds at Club Quarters were very comfortable and the free water was a nice savings for us each day. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!! This was my 3rd time to Chicago in 11/2 years, my friends' first. This hotel was great. Only things that I would recommend improvement on it-- they need a fan in the bathroom ( but it cleared of steam in a matter of minutes when the door opened), the room we had only had one window-- to a GREAT view of the river- so can't complain too much, and I did not see any coffee or anything in the lobby- maybe I didn't search around enough.- They did have friendly people working, always greated us with a smile. We made a few requests and they were handled professionally and matters were taken care of that moment for us. Normally people do not go to Chicago to hang out in hotel room so Location, Location, Location is what it was all about for us and this hotel did it !!!! Resturant was wonderful. Used a friends 2007 car- and valet service brought it back in the great condition they took it in. Feel free to ask the front desk they will help you with just about everything. We were with in walking distance to most everything we wanted to do ( one reason I reserved this hotel) I would recommend staying here and I will stay here again if they have openings when I plan another trip!!

Unless you want to sleep in a closet, you will need to pay $25 a night to upgrade to a larger room.
club quarters worth the money

It was well worth the money. The restaraunt was not the best, and very pricey. The help and service was pretty good for the most part. The last day of 3 when we asked for late checkout (expecting to pay for it) the man at the desk was VERY rude!! Otherwise, others were very very nice.
