The location was great. Just steps away from Michican Ave. The rooms were alright but the view was not that good unless you had a river room view. All in all a good hotel.
Closet Sized Rooms at Club Quarters

travel shoppers who need more than a dormitory sized room, beware! This is considered a three star hotel in the Magnificent Mile area. The location is great. However, the standard rooms are shockingly tiny. We were on a family trip and needed a place to unwind after museums, shows, etc. We had two rooms for five people. I was crammed into a room with my two daughters that barely held us and our luggage. When they rolled in the cot, you literally had to walk across the top of it to get to the bathroom. I do not consider this three star luxury. By the time we upgraded to suites, which were a far more acceptable square footage, I was paying nearly as much as I would have for a two bedroom suite at the Omni for the same timeframe.
If all you need is a place to rest your head, then go for it. Club Quarters is clean and the staff is helpful. If you have your family with you, forget it. Don't take the risk of getting Club Quarters on travel website!!

Very clean, staff very friendly. I liked that it was in an old historic building with some character, however, this made the rooms on the smaller side. I was upgraded to a "suite" due to "over booking" and they only had a smoking room available, however, I did not notice any untoward odor. It had a microwave, sink, coffee maker and small refreigerator. VERY NICE to have a refrigerator without incurring "mini bar charges". I would say my "suite" was the size of an average "regular room" in more modern hotel. Althought the wireless internet service was free of charge, the signal was so weak in my room I could not maintain connectivitiy, they brought me two cables to connect, however, that did not work either (not sure if it was the connection or my computer). They had 3 computers in the "club room" open use, free of charge, nice touch, just above the lobby. It's not a place to stay if you want luxury resort, however, if you want a nice, clean room with some ammenities for free, I thought good value for the money. Complimentary bottled water machines in the hallway very nice as well. Clean and staff responsive and helpful.

Hotel is a very good value and it is in a fantastic location. From the higher floors you get a magnificant view of the Chicago river. There is free wireless internet all over the hotel which is great for business travelers. The restaurant downstairs is reasonably priced and the food is great.
Highly recommend for great location near Magnificent Mile and subway

We were very pleased with the Club Quarters on Wacker. We flew in from Kansas City and arrived at the hotel at 10 a.m. on a Friday and were able to check in with no fees since they had rooms available. I had called a couple days before and did a pre-check in. They will hold your bags for you if rooms are not available, so that you don't have to worry about what to do with them until your room is ready. The front staff was pleasant and they have free tourist guides that are updated weekly/monthly.
The room was very clean and had plenty of room for the two of us. We didn't spend any time in it besides sleeping, but it had a tv, coffee maker, and blow dryer, plus free WIFI that worked some times better than others. All of the rooms are floors 11 and up, with ours being on the 23rd and having a great view of the river and buildings in Chicago. The hotel is only a block away from the start of the Magnificent mile, which has the best shopping I've seen about anywhere and lots of great restaurants. You can easily walk to the Hancock Observatory, but Navy Pier is a little more of a hike. We'd recommend a bus. We bought a 3 day CTA pass and got around on the buses and subway everywhere with ease.
The restaurant is very reasonable for breakfast-better than most around it, and has an outdoor area that we liked. McCormick and Schmick's and Morton's are about a block away. There is also a Walgreens and grocery within the block and souvenir shopping. We will definitely be back. The complimentary bottled water machines were great also. New bottles, cold, and tasted great.
