We booked a Standard Room with 1 QUEEN Bed for two nights. The desk employee was pleasant when we checked in. However, we got to the room and it was extremely tiny with 1 DOUBLE Bed. We went downstairs to ask for the room we had booked, which should have a Queen Bed, not a Double Bed. A different desk employee tried to tell us that the room he gave us had a Queen bed. I explained that we have a Queen bed at home and this room definitely did not have a Queen bed. The employee tried to say the hotel has different size Queen beds than you buy in stores. Another couple came down complaining about their room and he assisted them. Then he came back to us, told us we were right, we were in the wrong type of room, and then gave us a room with a King bed.
The TV remote in the room was filthy, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. It didn't work because the batteries were stuck in the battery compartment with battery acid leaking. We called and were brought a new remote.
The gym was a small, hot room in the basement with only a few pieces of equipment, one piece was broken.
Good points: free bottled water, close to restaurants, close to Michigan Avenue, validated parking for $20 per 24 hour period.
great place to stay would highly recommend it!

We book 2 rooms for 1 night and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. They answered all of our questions and even got a cab for us. They also kept our bags till 6 p.m. so we could shop after we checked out, they also would make reservations at restuarants and shows if we needed. The rooms are small but very clean and very close to everything that we wanted to do . We will stay here each time we visit the windy city!

Great staff. Very good room - good value. Could not have a better location in the downtown. Looking down on the Chicago River from 24 stories up is incredible.

I was very impressed! Though the lobby was small and busy at times, the staff as very helpful. The location was perfect for our purposes: seeing a show and shopping. The room was comfortable and clean and had an excellent view of the river. Stayed for just one night andwas very impressed that they could keep my car until 6 o'clock the next day, even though I had checked out that morning, for no extra cost! I would definitely stay here again!

really nice small rooms really small we were not there for the room the elevators are very slow up to 4-5 minutes then they were full we were on the 23 floor and took the stairs down several times and beat the evevators were are not young 64-62 but loved the rest and bar best location in chicago will stay there again
