The Posada has always been a sort of mid-level stop between the gut-level backpacker places and the lower-end tourist hotels. It's a for real hotel--it's got a pool! And air conditioning! And a groovy bistro-meets-jungle decor that should register well with the lounge music fans. And it's perfectly located, away from the weirdness, but only short work to beach and eats. And it's under $420 U.S. Dig that.
