The hotel was older, but in generally good shape. It is very close to the beach, but the beach has a strong undertow. It has two pools, which are perfect for working on sun tans. Also, it has a AAA discount, a senior discount, and a discounted breakfast at an casual, decent restaraunt (we did not try any other meal there however).
The East shore where it is located is ideal as a jumping off point to many other island points, for tourist shopping (the Coconut Marketplace is walking distance), or as a cheap alternative to the South Shore resorts.
One important fact - more than half the hotel were seniors on scheduled tours when we were there.
When we return to Kuaui (and we will), we''ll be staying on the more rleaxing North Shore.
