Avg. low-rate motel style of US hotels, did not offer reg. amenities: hair dryer, in-room coffee, local calls, but casa/open-styled room w/window, small bathroom, poor water pressure. Everything costs money-leave the maid a generous tip. Rooms were very clean/pleasant despite being open to outside air(pleasant temperatures in early spring). Two pools, very dirty/green/algae and one was not open (small jacuzzi style)- no gym. Don't stay here, close to airport but far from beach/downtown. Be careful and don't get swindled by cabs/don't pay more than $5 to go downtown/beaches. Marina restaurant offers reg. steak&seafood/pasta dishes same price $14-25 as DC (try local cuisine downtown instead). $1/day all you can drink Coronas 2-locations on Marina are within walking, convenience store with bottled water (don't buy hotel's) and phone cards-no digital cell phone coverage and all calls cost $$$$. Hotel costs US$17-25/night but they call it taxes even if you win a trip here for "free" from Ramada. I ended up paying $150+/week still and didn't get my refundable deposit when I arrived (took 2-3 days). Secluded, quiet, if that's all you want.
