I loved it. Two bathrooms each with a huge shower. It had a Jacuzzi next to the window, fridge restocked daily with bottled water, juice, soft drinks, and beer. One TV in the living room, and a second in the bedroom.

Resort Experience:
This is a little more quiet than its sister hotel, the Royal Sunset. The rooms are villas, so you never have to wait for elevators. The one-bedroom had two bathrooms, large showers, and plenty of room. The pool was large enough, and the swim-up bar made it fun. It is all-inclusive, so you don't have to worry about paying every time you eat or want to go on an excursion. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Daily maid service is wonderful! You get two resorts (Royal Sunset) for the price of one!

The staff was GREAT with my three kids. The kids had fun and where always given attention by the staff.

It's not on the beach, but travel to the beach was easy. The food was great, and the drinks were free. While the room wasn't what we were used to, it was very accommodating.

Rooms were very clean and well kept. The beds were fine for me, but several people we vacationed with thought they were very hard. A safe was provided (be sure to use it for everything you want to take home!!). The kitchen facility was nice, but sort of useless since this is an all-inclusive and the food is wonderful and plentiful. We'd stay again.

EZ access to sister property, beach via free transportation. Daily activities are well planned. Buffet variety for major meals is good and plentiful. Snacks poolside were good and quick. Staff (servers, front desk, others) very accomodating. Tour information available. Relaxed atmosphere.

Resort Experience:
This resort is a stucco hacienda style 2 and 3 story property, no elevators. Access to some rooms is thru plant lined walkway. Rooms were clean and mini bar well stocked. If something was needed/wanted I usually followed up on it to get it done quickly instead of waiting; this was my call. Rooms on the boulevard side toward downtown end were impacted by street noise, but we were immediately moved to better accomodations on the lagoon side. This was my wife's first trip to Cancun and although she initially wanted the beach, she preferred this property after going to the sister resort. Marina on property for yacht tours, diving, other tours, etc.
