This resort is large with all the necessary amenities: beach, pool, bar. When I first walked into the resort, I was in awe. In front of the main doors is this very large, saltwater aquarium with fish bigger than me! This lovely lady offered me a strawberry daiquiri to get my vacation started. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they don't expect tips because of the all inclusive, but if you throw them a couple of pesos, they will always be there for you.
Unique qualities: all of the timeshare units face the beach. I loved waking up and hearing the waves rolling in and out. The free-form swimming pool is one of the neatest I've seen, and it's not deep, in case you drink too much. This resort has three restaurants onsite, one is a grass roof hut right on the beach. There is even a fancy restaurant in the center of all the rooms called the "Atrium" offering Italian cuisine. This place is absolutely beatiful.
Every night the resort has a different theme and live entertainment, the best part is, it's outdoors! During the day they have games such as bingo, I even won a T-shirt. This resort has a sister property across the way on the lagoon side with a swim-up bar and several other restaurants, that can be used if the all-inclusive package is taken.
