It’s a great location to view the sights at the Shrine of Democracy, Badlands, Black Hills. Tatanka is a great living history museum for the Native American Lakota and the story of the buffalo (tatanka). Dances with Wolves was filmed in this area and Tatanka was developed and is owned by Mr. Kevin Costner.
