Best Things Nearby:
Fluffy's Bakery & Deli, Carnegie Hall, Central Park, Metro Bus Line

Best Things About the Resort:
Very luxurious, pampering environment. Loved the daily maid service. Nice business center/free utilization of fax and Internet. Housekeeping, concierge, and bell staff were just excellent.

Resort Experience:
We exchanged into a junior executive suite through RCI (yes, I'm living proof it can be done). The unit was small but adequate for two people. Tasteful furnishings throughout the resort. I would have liked and expected a king-size bed (rather than the too-firm queen) in such a luxurious club. I asked for an upgrade to a unit with a king bed upon check-in, but front desk rep mumbled something about "RCI exchangers not being eligible."

The resort is really close to anything you would want to experience in the city. We took a 6-hour shuttle tour, which was a great way to determine what we wanted to go back and visit on a more extensive basis. We took the sales tour and declined to buy, but no one was rude about it. We were given very nice gifts for attending the "pitch". Overall, it was a great vacation in a city this "Georgia gal" won't soon forget!

This is a beautiful timeshare in NYC that is right across the street from Carnegie Hall. It's in a perfect location. I had a spacious one-bedroom suite with a kitchenette. Maid service is included daily, with coffee and popcorn provided each day as well.

We stayed in a well appointed one-bedroom timeshare unit. The partial kitchen had a microwave and a small fridge. The best part is that there are two full marble baths (one has a tub/shower and the other has a very large (room for two) marble stall shower. There were TVs in both the living room and the bedroom. The bedroom had a king size bed and there’s also a queen size pull out sofa (which I've been told is comfortable).

The only drawback to the club is that there are insufficient elevators. They are working on a solution, but in the meantime, check-out time is tough to get down to.

There’s a nice club room on the 26th floor -- bartenders are always nice and the place is usually pretty quiet. They serve a nice continental breakfast (which is pricey at $7+ per person).

The concierge desk is helpful and the bellmen are extremely nice and remember you if you've been there a couple times, which is a nice touch in what can be an impersonal city.

We had a one-bedroom condo. The living room, bedroom, and dining area were adequate. The main bathroom was very fancy, with lots of marble and a huge shower!!

Best Things Nearby:
Delis across the street, walking distance to Broadway and Central Park, restaurants and places to shop and sightseeing all around!

Best Things About the Resort:
You couldn't ask for a more convenient location. Units are much larger than a NY hotel room and clean.

Resort Experience:
We exchanged into an Executive Suite (Studio) 4/2. I called the MC the day before to request a room upgrade. I was told that special requests were blocked the night before. Upgrades were given on the morning of arrival if available. They did not have availability for an upgrade, but blocked a room with a view of 7th Avenue and a handicapped room (2204).

The building is U-shaped with the Park Central Hotel sharing one side. The MC units seem to be on the bottom of the U (and maybe one side as well, I‚m not sure). I could see from my window that some units have a brick wall in front of their windows, some face the other side of the hotel and others face the street. I would suggest that those who have claustrophobia not get one of the L-shaped studios. While the bedroom is more separate from the living room than the standard studios, the bedroom is very small, very dark, and has no TV. It was also very stuffy. This was the worst part of the stay. I would have preferred the smaller studio with more light.

Everything after that was wonderful. The unit itself was well maintained and had enough amenities for the little that we stayed in. The bathroom was very nice. There was maid service each day. There was an in-room hair dryer and bathrobes, and daily shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, popcorn, and coffee (though not enough sugar and creamer if you both use it).

We would get up each morning and get breakfast and bring it back to the room. Across the street on 7th is Fluffy’s Bakery, which sells very reasonably priced egg sandwiches and yummy muffins. Up the block on 7th was a Bean and Bagel, which had great bagels and spreads.

Parking is by valet. Just leave your key with the bellman and they pick it up. The cost is $30 for each 24 hours or part thereof. It’s very convenient, although expensive. You can also park two blocks down on 56th for $20 a day and walk to the Club.

I recommend stopping in a Visitor's Bureau and getting discount books. We were able to get 40% off Beauty and the Beast tickets. Also, handicapped seats are a third of the price for the handicapped person and a guest. The show was wonderful and is highly recommended for all ages (we were from ages 3 to 67!). I bought the tickets on the day of the show (Sunday matinee) two hours before at the theater box office with the discount code. We watched the St. Patrick's Day parade. The bands were great. It isn't as much fun as the Thanksgiving Day parade, but still nice.

I love the MC -- the location is perfect and there is always something to do in NYC. I can't wait to go back!
