When you are a guest of Club Regina you have full use of all the facilities at the adjacent Westin Resort. The fitness center is full of state-of-the-art equipment along with knowledgeable trainers. Next door to the fitness center there's a huge jacuzzi to relax after a good work out, although our huge 2 bedroom unit had a jacuzzi right inside of it overlooking the crystal clear turquoise water of the Caribbean.
There are two major restaurants on site: El Palmar, that has a bountiful buffet for breakfast although a little bit overpriced. Arrecifes, the italian specialty restaurant at the resort, has a lobster special on Wednesdays in a romantic, elegant and sensual atmosphere; absolutely a must!
At the on-site grocery store we found several of our favorite American brands, although the prices were a lot higher than in America. (Fishermen sell fresh-catch lobster in the beach for you to buy at unbelieveable low prices) if you feel like cooking.
