This Mexican style resort is a nice moderate hotel in the Disney resort. It is a large facility with several buildings holding the rooms. There are nicely lit walkways so you can feel comfortable walking around at night. There are a few choices for dining throughout the facility. You do have to look around for a decent deal since much of it is rather pricey. There are pools scattered throughout the facility. One of which has an Aztec theme to it while another is in the middle of several hotel buildings. I didn't have a problem locating a chair.

This was my third time to Disney World, and by far this was my favorite resort. I have stayed at Key West and Caribbean Beach, both of which I loved and enjoyed. But there is somthing about Coronado that I just loved. The rooms, of course, were clean and somewhat spacious. They were spread out around the lake, but they had shuttles that ran around the lake all day, so we never had to walk. The pool was the kids' favorite--the main pool was great, with the waterfall and the water slide. We rented the small boats and went out on the lake one day, and the boats were slow, but we had fun. The main house had a great store and an arcade the kids loved. We never had to wait very long for any of the buses to the parks. All in all, we love the Coronado, and we would stay there again.

Coronado Springs is a moderate choice for a family of 4. The rooms have 2 double beds, 27" TV with cable with a Disney info channel.

There is a family style food court with an array of choices catering to the pickiest eaters as well as the not so picky eaters. The hospitality is at the top of the list. The hotel boasts a great water slide for warmer weather, as well as a poolside bar for all. The patio space is abundant. The hotel is large and a walk to the pool from some rooms. However, the scenery is lovely and the walk is enjoying. Now if the children saw the pool slide they may not be able to think about anything else! It is fun and worth the wait that sometimes goes along with it. The amount of exercise involved in climbing the concrete steps will make everyone sleep like a baby. Enjoy!
