People often call this hotel a "big toaster in the sky." Just because of that title, I didn't want to stay there. Well, was I wrong! This is a beautiful hotel with a main building and connected wing rooms. I have had the pleasure of staying in the "tower" and the "wing" rooms. The tower room has great views of the 7 Seas Lagoon or the Magic Kingdom. The wing room is like your typical hotel room with a view of trees and facilities. I would pay the extra to stay in the tower. The best part is going to the top of the tower to watch the fireworks over Cinderella's castle. The pool facilities are wonderful. Several pools, and one with a water slide. They have a variety of water sports for you to enjoy for an extra fee. Chef Mickey's character breakfast is out of this world. There is a small coffee bar in the lobby area with Starbucks like, coffee and prices. A food court is available to get your usual cafeteria style food. You can walk to the Magic Kingdom, or take the monorail. However, if you take the monorail it takes a little longer since you go to the ticket center, Grand Floridian, and then the Polynesian.

The standard garden room was very nice with a view out over the water. We had two queen size beds with a fold down couch. For a family of five we had plenty of room. The bathroom was bigger than expected with a separate room for the toilet and extra sink. This was nice for the mornings we were all trying to be in the bathroom. The only complaint we had was they were doing construction at that time and there was no way to get to the main building without getting wet in the rain. It was a typical Florida summer and rained every afternoon we were there.
