The room was great and had everything we needed. The only thing is when we accepted a one-bedroom unit, we did not realize we would not have a jacuzzi. Other than that, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Fairfield Kingsgate is a gated community and has a very colonial feel. We had a one-bedroom unit, so it didn't have a balcony, but I believe the two-bedroom units have them. The room was extremely neat and clean with a mini kitchen equipped with everything you need. I have guessed above that the room was $100-$150 per night, but I'm not certain because we had a free week with RCI and got the entire week for $139.

Very nice accommodations. However, this was the first time that the second bedroom did not provide separate beds for the children. Plenty of activities provided. Adult pool was nice for privacy from children. Definitely take advantage of getting a family or self profile sketch done by the resort's artist, Emily. She captured our full family's profile beautiful and is very reasonably priced.

Best Things Nearby:
Close to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg.

Best Things About the Resort:
Checking out

Resort Experience:
Although some renovations had been made, it still could have used many more. There was new wallpaper, carpet, and drapes but appliances were not updated. The unit had a terrible musty smell. Once you have stayed in Fairfield's newer properties it is very difficult to settle for accommodations like this. I have been told that a lot of money has been put into this property for renovations, but it still is in need of major improvements.

Best Things About the Resort:
Very quiet and peaceful setting. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Resort Experience:
The units' design on the outside fits into the theme of the Williamsburg area. We stayed in a one bedroom which had a large bathroom, large bedroom and nice size living room with sleeper sofa.

There was a nice large pool with shower room area and a childrens play area.

It was set back from the road to give you a nice quiet peaceful setting. There were some walking trails around the resort which we walked in the late afternoon.

You are very close to everything Williamsburg has to offer. There was only a drive to Jamestown settlement which was worth it.
