Resort Experience:
We stayed in room B14, which is the top level on the corner. The view from the balcony was amazing. There are 2 swimming pools and a hot tub. The pools were a little cool, but not bad after a day at the beach in the hot sun.
There is one BBQ grill and several tables and chairs. There is very little parking, you have to go about 1/2 a block to a parking garage which is shared by other hotels.
They had some activities, the best one was the happy hour and my husband went golfing with the staff on Wednesday.
I was dissapointed that the condo only had one TV and one phone, both located in the living room. The sofa/sleeper was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. The bedroom was closest to the beach and overlooking the pool. 3 out of the 7 night we could hear people partying until at least 2:30am(even thought it closed at 10). There is NO secruity guard on site so you have to call the answering service. You have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator, and then walk up another flight of stairs to get to the rooms - we took the stairs most of the time.
The check in and check out was very simple and quick.
If we wouldn't have had an ocean view this resort would have been really lacking. There is Riptide 2,right next door but we didn't look into any rooms. I would suggest to NOT visit Myrtle Beach during Memorial Day weekend due the the rowdy atmosphere on the beach with all the bikers.
